Marketing Manager – Customer & Trade Marketing (CPG)

well-established CPG company with a strong national footprint

to identify a

Marketing Manager

focused on

customer and trade marketing .
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of

Marketing and Sales , where you’ll bring the

voice of the customer into brand strategy

and ensure best-in-class execution across key retail channels.

What You’ll Own
Customer & Channel Strategy
Partner with Sales to develop

customer and channel-specific strategies
Translate brand plans into actionable programs tailored to key accounts
Represent both the

voice of the customer

and the

voice of the brand
Trade Marketing & Activation
Lead development of

integrated promotional calendars

across channels
Execute high-impact activation programs that drive trial and sales
Develop merchandising and in-store materials to improve visibility
Sales Enablement
Build compelling

selling stories, category reviews, and sales decks
Support new product launches, including go-to-market execution and tracking
Participate in customer meetings and key selling moments
Analytics & Performance
Set KPIs and track program effectiveness, optimizing based on results
Leverage

syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and customer data platforms
Provide insights to inform S&OP and broader business planning
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Brand Marketing, Category Management, and Sales teams
Support trade shows and key customer planning sessions
Ensure alignment between brand strategy and retail execution
Budget Management
Manage customer marketing budgets to deliver efficient, high-ROI programs

✅ What We’re Looking For
7 years of marketing, sales, or business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the CPG industry required
3+ years of experience in

Customer Marketing/Trade Marketing CPG
MUST HAVE Fast Moving Consumer Goods experience
Strong understanding of

retail and account-level execution
Experience with

syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and retailer platforms (e.g., Retail Link)
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree required
