Senior Accountant – Banking / Lending Experience Required
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our client during a critical system implementation and audit period. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and experience in banking or lending environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support the NetSuite implementation from an accounting and reporting standpoint
Assist with data validation, reconciliations, and system tie-outs between QuickBooks and NetSuite
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure financials are audit-ready and support requests from Deloitte
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
Strengthen internal controls and documentation during system transition
Qualifications
Required: Banking, mortgage, or lending industry experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience working with external auditors (Big 4 environment preferred)
Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred (open to strong mid-tier backgrounds)
Prior ERP implementation experience highly preferred (NetSuite experience is a plus)
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced transition environment
