OnePlan Administrator – Mid Level (3–4+ Years Experience)
Role Focus
Experienced administrator owning platform configuration, process enablement, and stakeholder partnership, with growing influence on PMO effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Independently administer, configure, and optimize OnePlan to support portfolio, project, and resource management
• Partner with PMO leadership to align the platform with governance, intake, and prioritization processes
• Design and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and Excel based analytics for leadership and finance
• Proactively identify data quality issues, adoption gaps, and process improvement opportunities
• Lead onboarding, training sessions, and user enablement efforts
• Serve as primary contact for vendor support, upgrades, and enhancements
• Create and own platform documentation, standards, and best practices
• Support cross tool integrations or downstream reporting (where applicable)
Required Qualifications
• 3–4+ years of OnePlan or enterprise PPM platform administration experience
• Strong working knowledge of project, portfolio, and resource management practices
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, data modeling)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive ready messaging
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
• Experience supporting PMO or enterprise IT governance models

Overview: Oversees the implementation of OnePlan PPM software components for approved applications, coordinates tests of the application system to ensure proper performance. Typical Functions: Provides accurate, quality analyses of new program applications. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, debugging, and installing to support an organization's application systems. Develops application specifications, identifies the required inputs, and formats the output to meet users' needs. Consults with management to determine goals and objectives, talks to clients to determine their needs and clarify program objectives, and understands and helps design applications to fit or meets those needs and objectives. Creates and customizes application programs designed around the specific requests of clients. Runs application testing on designed programs, locates potential problems, devises or modifies procedures to solve them in an efficient manner considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, and provides database management support. Maintains the programs and creates any upgrades necessary, which may include adapting or de-bugging an existing program. Prepares reports on the program; writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections; creates any needed instruction manuals or help screens describing installation and operating procedures; and maintains documentation as necessary for operational and security audits. Utilizes strong knowledge of computer hardware and software along with the knowledge of different computer languages. Keeps up to date with software and technology trends in the field. May focus on a specific type of system, such as business, accounting and financial, or scientific and engineering. May provide in-person training on program applications for personnel and create networks of application users within or across organizations. 4-6 years of experience.
