Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Purchase Buyer
to manage
domestic and international sourcing , supplier development, and procurement operations. The role involves handling a wide range of
automation, electrical, and mechanical components , ensuring
on-time procurement, cost optimization, and inventory control .
Key Responsibilities
Manage
supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance
Handle
procurement activities
including RFQs, POs, and cost negotiations
Ensure
on-time procurement
at optimal cost
Develop
alternate sourcing strategies
and supplier base
Monitor
inventory levels, excess stock, and reorder planning
Collaborate with
stores, accounts, and cross-functional teams
Track
procurement metrics, reports, and compliance (ERP/MIS)
Support
Capex procurement and global sourcing initiatives
Requirements
5+ years of experience
in procurement/supply chain
Bachelor’s degree in
Supply Chain / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Strong experience in
strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation
Proficiency in
ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI
Knowledge of
global sourcing, inventory management, and cost optimization
Ability to manage
multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to
travel for supplier coordination and audits
