Position Overview
Industrial Systems Consulting (ISC) is seeking experienced
Field Verification / P&ID Technicians
to support onsite work aligning
field conditions with engineering drawings .
This role is focused on ensuring that P&IDs, equipment data, and system configurations accurately reflect what is installed and operating in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
plant walkdowns
to verify equipment, piping systems, and instrumentation
Identify discrepancies between
field conditions and existing P&IDs
Mark up and redline P&IDs with accurate field data
Support the creation and updating of
as-built drawings
Document equipment tag information, line numbers, and system configurations
Work closely with engineers and designers to resolve discrepancies
Capture field data clearly and accurately for downstream updates
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in
industrial facilities
(oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or similar)
Strong understanding of
P&IDs, piping systems, and plant layout
Experience performing
field walkdowns / as-built verification
Ability to interpret and update engineering drawings
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Plant 3D (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field
Preferred Qualifications
Background as a
piping designer, field engineer, or maintenance technician
Experience with
brownfield facilities where drawings are incomplete or outdated
Ability to work directly with operations and maintenance personnel
