About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our finance team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting operations. In this role, you will support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate financial processing, timely payments, and effective issue resolution.
Working under direct supervision, you will follow established processes while gaining hands-on experience in financial systems, reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Process and input Accounts Payable (AP) invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile AP transactions with the general ledger to ensure accuracy of financial records
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to missing items, incorrect documentation, and pricing issues
Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Control, Shipping, and other departments to resolve invoice-related issues
Perform cash application and support collection of past-due accounts
Maintain and track customer account information, including AR and sales reporting
Handle deviation processing to resolve mismatches between invoices and system data
Initiate wire transfers and check payments using banking platforms (e.g., JP Morgan Access)
Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
0–3 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office-based role in a professional, well-lit, and climate-controlled environment
May involve light physical activity such as standing, walking, and handling documents or office materials
Minimal exposure to hazards; standard office working conditions apply
Compliance & Standards

Support compliance with quality standards (ISO/TS 16949), environmental (ISO 14001), and safety requirements
