Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology program
Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing (CVI/RCIS)
Valid state licensure to practice as required
Experience with cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures
Proficient in operating fluoroscopy, digital imaging, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in fast-paced settings
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain catheterization and electrophysiology lab equipment and sterile supplies
Assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms, stenting, and other interventions
Capture and record high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate imaging protocols
Monitor patient vitals and document procedure details accurately in patient records
Coordinate workflow to ensure efficient scheduling and patient throughput
Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality protocols at all times
Provide patient support and explanation throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort
