
Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A) – Contract

Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Financial Analyst
to step into a contract FP&A role and provide immediate analytical support across the business. This individual will take ownership of forecasts, variance analysis, and executive‑level reporting, while partnering closely with cross‑functional leaders to drive insight, decision‑making, and results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
FP&A analysis , including monthly/quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning support
Prepare and deliver
detailed variance analyses
(actuals vs. forecast/budget), clearly explaining drivers and implications
Build and refine
financial models
to support business initiatives and operational decision‑making
Develop
management and executive presentations , translating complex data into clear, concise insights
Partner with stakeholders across operations, commercial teams, and leadership to provide actionable analytics and support strategic decisions
Maintain a strong working understanding of
all three financial statements
and how they interconnect (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Utilize
Excel and Power BI
to automate reporting, create dashboards, and improve visibility into financial performance
Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed in a fast‑paced environment
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
3+ years of accounting or finance experience , preferably in a
financial planning and analysis role
Public accounting background a plus
Demonstrated ability to
develop, manipulate, and analyze large data sets
to derive meaningful business insights
Proven track record of
developing and implementing value‑added financial processes
Experience with
financial modeling , including scenario analysis and business forecasting
GAAP knowledge and hands‑on experience required
Advanced/Expert Excel and Access skills , including:
Workbook and database creation
Data management and manipulation
Financial modeling and reporting
Power BI proficiency , including dashboard development and reporting
