Job Overview
Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a skilled

Chemical SCADA Engineer

to support the design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of SCADA / DCS systems for chemical, industrial, and semiconductor-related facility operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining control system architecture, HMI displays, system tags, control logic, alarms, historian data, and communication interfaces that support critical process systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SCADA / DCS platforms, preferably

Emerson DeltaV , strong PLC integration knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings to ensure system configurations align with process flow, safety requirements, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
Configure, build, and maintain SCADA / DCS system architecture, including servers, controllers, EIOC, and related system components
Design and develop HMI / operator graphic displays to support clear process visibility and operator response
Create, configure, and manage system tags in accordance with P&ID drawings, project standards, and naming conventions
Configure industrial communication protocols, including PLC, Modbus, OPC, and related integration interfaces
Develop control logic using Emerson DeltaV function blocks and related control strategies
Implement sequence control, interlocks, timers, permissives, and conditional logic to support safe and reliable system operation
Design integrator-based calculations, conditional logic, and process control functions based on operational requirements
Configure alarm strategies, including HI, HI-HI, A_ALM, B_ALM, and related alarm parameters
Implement alarm hysteresis, alarm suppression logic, and OPSUP logic to reduce nuisance alarms and improve operator response
Provide on-site maintenance support, troubleshooting assistance, and emergency response for control system issues
Configure historian / INSQL data points, records, trends, and reporting structures
Develop trend displays, dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to support operations and engineering teams
Integrate SCADA systems with databases, historian platforms, and external data systems as needed

Qualifications
Hands-on experience with SCADA / DCS systems; Emerson DeltaV experience strongly preferred
Experience configuring servers, controllers, EIOC, HMI graphics, tags, alarms, and control logic
PLC integration experience, including Ladder Logic and Function Block programming concepts
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, OPC, and PLC communication interfaces
Strong control logic design experience, including sequences, interlocks, timers, permissives, and conditional logic
Ability to read, interpret, and apply P&ID drawings, loop drawings, and related engineering documentation
Experience supporting loop checks, system testing, commissioning, and startup activities
Experience with alarm configuration, alarm rationalization, alarm suppression, and nuisance alarm troubleshooting
Familiarity with historian systems, INSQL, trend displays, dashboards, and operational reporting tools
Strong troubleshooting skills related to communication issues, system performance, alarms, and logic errors
Ability to collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, commissioning, and project teams
Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to work in high-specification industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting chemical, semiconductor, manufacturing, industrial, or high-purity facility systems
Emerson DeltaV configuration and commissioning experience
Experience working with chemical delivery systems, process utilities, UPW, wastewater, gas, exhaust, or facility control systems
Experience supporting field commissioning, startup, SAT/FAT, loop checks, and system validation
Knowledge of control system cybersecurity, access control, change management, and system documentation standards
Experience with database integration, historian reporting, and dashboard development

Work Environment
This position may require work in industrial, construction, semiconductor, chemical, and facility environments. The role may involve both office-based engineering work and field support, including troubleshooting, commissioning, system validation, and on-site maintenance activities. Candidates should be comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, construction, and maintenance teams in a fast-paced project environment.
