Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and AI-driven solutions to design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and compliant applications supporting court operations, permitting workflows, and real-time translation services.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure-native development, AI/ML (especially NLP), and secure system architecture, preferably within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Delivery
Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions across:
CORA (Court Operations & Record Automation): Transcription, summarization, document classification, evidence extraction
PermitIQ (Permitting Automation Platform): Document processing, administrative review automation, applicant guidance
Lingual ink (Real-Time Translation Intelligence): Multilingual translation pipelines using responsible AI
Develop scalable AI agent frameworks and automation workflows
Ensure seamless integration with court systems, county platforms, and CCO systems
2. Azure Development & Integration
Build and integrate Azure-native solutions including:
Data pipelines and orchestration workflows
Application services and APIs
AI and cognitive service integrations
Secure networking and infrastructure
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Follow DevOps best practices for deployment and monitoring
3. AI & Data Engineering
Develop and deploy AI/ML models focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP):
Transcription
Summarization
Classification
Translation
Integrate Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services into production systems
Implement Responsible AI practices (accuracy, fairness, transparency)
4. Security & Compliance
Ensure compliance with InfoSec, data governance, and regulatory standards (including HIPAA where applicable)
Design secure architectures using:
Azure Key Vault
Virtual Networks (VNets)
Firewalls and secure endpoints
Maintain documentation for audit and compliance readiness
5. Collaboration & Support
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements
Support user onboarding and post-deployment stabilization
Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Required Technical Skills:-
Microsoft Azure
Data & Integration: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL / Managed Instance, Azure Storage (Blob, ADLS)
Application Development: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure DevOps (CI/CD, repos, secrets management)
AI & Cognitive Services: Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Open AI, AI model deployment
Security & Networking: Azure Key Vault, Virtual Networks, firewalls, secure endpoints
Core Competencies
Strong experience in AI/ML development, especially NLP and automation
Expertise in API design and system integration
Solid understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems
Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):-
Experience working in government, judicial, or regulated environments
Familiarity with CJIS compliance standards
Exposure to enterprise-scale AI implementations
