SUMMARY
External Audit Manager role with a fast-growing, tech-driven CPA firm, responsible for leading audit engagements end-to-end while managing and mentoring teams. This position combines strong technical expertise in GAAP/GAAS with client relationship management and strategic input, supporting a diverse client base in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and review financial statement audits, compilations, and reviews across a range of client engagements
Manage the full audit process including planning, fieldwork, and final deliverables
Supervise, coach, and develop audit staff and seniors while upholding quality standards
Analyze and resolve complex accounting, auditing, and reporting matters
Foster strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service
Assist with business development efforts and contribute to overall firm strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
5–10 years of progressive experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in an audit management capacity
Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and standard audit procedures
CPA license required or in progress toward completion
Tech-savvy with experience using audit and accounting software tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skill set
