Multi Functional Manufacturing Planner Supervisor

Description
You will be the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor for the Production Planning and Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for production planning and managing the daily production activities to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage 1–5 direct reports of PP&C planners, including performance assessments, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Assist with recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.
Maintain production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization and minimize cost.
Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
Coordinate with Manufacturing and Operations Management to provide status on procured parts and analyze & control production schedule and capacity requirements.
Execute the production plan and develop workaround plans to preserve schedule.
Coordinate with Supply Chain stakeholders, including Procurement and Operations Management, to determine time‑phased plans for procured parts and execute processes to ensure delivery meets schedule.
Maintain MRP parameters such as lead times and lot sizes to ensure economic order quantity policies are met.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Past experience with Manufacturing and/or Make Planning.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing.
U.S. citizen able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
SAP ERP experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management.
Knowledge of inventory control and material handling.
Experience with material requirements planning.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.

Must be a U.S. Citizen:
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
