Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a midlevel associate to its New York projects and infrastructure group. This is a core team within a leading firm in this space, advising on some of the most sophisticated PPP and infrastructure financings in the market.
The group handles end to end project development and financing work for sponsors, developers, lenders, and public entities across major U.S. infrastructure assets.
The Role
You will work on complex domestic and cross border infrastructure matters, with a focus on public private partnerships and project financings. The practice sits at the intersection of corporate, finance, and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiating concession agreements, long term lease agreements, and other comprehensive PPP agreements
Drafting and negotiating design, construction, interface, operations, and maintenance agreements
Handling secured financings, including credit agreements, pledge and security agreements, and collateral agency agreements
Advising on bond transactions, including indentures, bond purchase agreements, and disclosure documents
Working closely with partners who are actively involved in deal execution
Candidate Profile
4–6 years of experience in projects, infrastructure, or project finance
Meaningful exposure to PPP transactions and related project documents
Strong experience with secured lending structures and or bond financings
Large law firm or highly regarded projects practice background
Comfortable running pieces of complex deals with limited supervision
