Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:Valid Occupational Therapist license/certification for IllinoisBackground working with pediatric or school-based caseloadsFamiliarity with IEP processes and school documentation preferredStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility to adapt to varying student needs and caseload changes throughout the ESYReliable transportation for potential travel in the Highland Park area Primary Responsibilities:Deliver evidence-based OT services to students as outlined in their IEPsCollaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to tailor interventionsAssess and document students’ progress toward individual OT goalsCommunicate effectively with families about student needs, strategies, and progressParticipate in orientation the week of June 8th in preparation for ESYAdapt to an evolving schedule; ESY runs 6/15–7/17 with hours determined by final caseloads This contract role offers an exciting chance to boost your professional experience while providing essential support to students during summer programs.
