Qualifications:Active RN license.Proven experience in Critical Care and Cardiac Critical Care settings.Direct experience with open heart recovery and post-cardiac procedure recovery.Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond confidently in emergent and ACLS certifications required.Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members. Key Responsibilities:Deliver focused, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.Manage and monitor post-operative cardiac and open heart recovery patients, ensuring safety and early identification of and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.Administer medications, monitor cardiac rhythms, and provide advanced life support as needed.Maintain accurate documentation and report critical patient changes in a timely manner.Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and post-hospital care.
