Job Summary
We are looking for 3 remote Primary Care Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to cover leave of absence from May through September. These roles are 40 hours a week, Monday‑Friday day shift, with a minimum of 4 days per week on site. Applicants must live in Massachusetts or New England, be able to travel to the site with 24‑hour notice, and complete a two‑week onsite orientation. Positions are temporary and do not include benefits.

Responsibilities

Assess and manage diverse patient populations with medical and/or surgical conditions.

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including histories, physical examinations, and bedside procedures.

Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Develop and adjust plans of care with appropriate follow‑up based on outcomes.

Prescribe medications and write prescriptions per organizational and regulatory policies.

Document clinical care in admission and progress notes, procedure and operative notes, and discharge summaries.

Precept a small group of learners, as required.

Comply with all policies, standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing.

Licensed Advanced Practice RN (APRN‑NP).

Experience providing direct care and counseling in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.

Proficiency in performing complete histories, physical examinations, and bedside procedures.

Ability to order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Strong documentation skills for admission, progress, procedural, operative, and discharge notes.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
