Concrete Finishers Wanted, Start ASAP and Work OT!

Join a dynamic team of foundation construction workers to build heavy capacity scale foundations. Your role will involve excavating foundations, grading, erecting forms and rebar, finishing concrete, and operating power tools and equipment. As a trainee or laborer with limited experience in general construction, you will complete your work safely and effectively while completing all required safety courses under the guidance of a job foreman.

Responsibilities

• Excavate foundation and perform grading tasks.
• Erect forms and rebar for construction.
• Finish concrete using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely.
• Complete required safety courses under the direction of the job foreman.
• Provide transportation to the Fairbanks construction office and travel with the crew in company vehicles.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, general labor, and carpentry.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools and HVAC systems.
• Concrete installation and finishing skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general grading, debris hauling, and handling supplies.
• Ability to change attachments on heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with power tools such as saws, drills, and impact hammers.
• Understanding of fastening systems and proper nailing techniques.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Knowledge of proper PPE usage.
• Experience in concrete placement and finishing techniques.
• Basic welding and metal work skills.

Work Environment

The work environment involves hands-on construction tasks with the use of various tools and equipment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
