Area Production Manager - Chemical Plants

Operations/Production Manager Excellent opportunity to join a specialty chemical plant as Operations/Production Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual ready to lead and enhance our production operations. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing daily production operations to consistently meet or exceed quality and output targets, leading a team of 10-30 professionals across Operations, Maintenance, and E&I centered on safety and continuous improvement, enhancing production efficiency through the refinement of SOPs and optimization of batch processes, aligning budget management with strategic business objectives, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to boost operational productivity, conducting risk assessments and addressing process deviations effectively, ensuring strict compliance with environmental regulations and OSHA standards, and optimizing in-plant inventory management and resource allocation.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, 8-15 years of relevant experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process safety management sectors, extensive knowledge of batch process manufacturing, including cycle times and equipment capacity, in-depth understanding of environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and ISO 9001 compliance, proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) methodologies, and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
