Role Summary
You will serve as a Subcontract Management Staff – Buyer for ADP‑Skunk Works within the Global Supply Chain Management Team.
Responsibilities
Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex build‑to‑print subcontracts for DOD programs.
Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Lead development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems.
Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price.
Select or recommend subcontractors, write award packages, and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
Experience establishing supplier relationships and managing continuous improvement of supplier performance.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR.
Ability to be on‑site a minimum of 2 days a week.
Desired Skills
8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a related Master’s degree.
Management or Team Lead experience.
Experience with engineering drawings.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP / AeroCode.
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance level: Secret.
