Job Description
At Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, the Avionics Supply Management team manages critical supply chain operations for electrical and avionics components and systems across multiple U.S. Government, international, and commercial aircraft programs. We are seeking a seasoned supply chain professional to manage major subcontracts and drive supplier performance and improvements.

The Work

Manage $10M–$20M in annual spend with Sikorsky suppliers as a Subcontracts Manager for Major Subcontracts.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving improvement initiatives across the Avionics Commodity and Product Center.

Oversee the procurement cycle, coordinate with production, spares, development programs, and support functions, and administer purchase orders.

Lead the evaluation of proposals, contract documentation, and modifications; assist in developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services.

Monitor supplier performance metrics, including MRP/on‑time delivery, purchase price variance, contract spend, and cost of poor quality.

Coordinate in an integrated team environment with Programs, Engineering, Legal, SAS, U.S. Government customers, Finance, and Marketing.

Lead key supplier negotiations, control costs, manage cost avoidance, and perform price analysis as needed.

Manage the import and export of technical data, hardware, software, and qualification artifacts in compliance with export license regulations.

Develop and implement RCCA plans for significant supplier issues and underperforming suppliers.

Experienced supply chain professional with proven expertise in subcontract management, supplier relations, and procurement for complex aerospace systems.

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, skilled at cross‑functional collaboration, and can effectively negotiate and influence stakeholders.

Detail‑oriented, metrics‑driven, and committed to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.

5+ years of relevant experience in supply management.

Strong background in government, international, or commercial contracts.

Aerospace supply chain management or related manufacturing procurement experience preferred.

Knowledge of SAC Purchasing Policies & Procedures, SAC’s Business Ethics and Codes of Conduct, and relevant regulations (Federal Aviation Regulations, FARS, DFARS, etc.).

Basic understanding of MRP, SAP, SDS, Buyer Dashboard/Newspaper, Cost Dashboard, Supply Hub, Supplier Portal, etc.

Excellent communication, organization, project management, and negotiation skills.

Remote Work
Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part of their schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
