Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious representative to help grow our business and deliver excellent customer service. The Business Development Representative will answer incoming telephone calls and greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner. The role includes receiving, processing, and coordinating all incoming sales inquiries, showroom floor requests, service requests, and internet queries. Additionally, clerical and administrative duties for the Sales and Service departments are performed.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar administrative, clerical, call center, or customer service position, and a working knowledge of automotive sales or service is advantageous.
The candidate must possess a pleasant and courteous personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, phone and computer proficiency, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Manage all incoming sales and service appointment queries (phone or internet) by scheduling appointments, confirming pending appointments, and following up on missed appointments.
Coordinate questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
Track sold vehicles and maintain hot sheets.
Confirm special order parts.
Follow up with phone and internet sales leads.
Manage all required paperwork and records, and prepare documentation such as forms and reports when needed.
Provide administrative assistance as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, call center, or customer service role.
Highly professional, dependable, and organized.
Working knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with dealership operations and Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus.
Outstanding communication skills.
