R55949This position will be responsible for buying parts and materials for the Valmet Lenox Location Service orders. Responsible for Buying and Tracking purchased items, to support the work shop orders within the Lenox shop. Including Planning for Lenox stock units.### **Responsibilities will include:**·
Responsible quoting and enrichment of items to support production orders.·
Respond effectively and efficiently to internal and external customer emergencies.·
Escalate issues that will impact customer deliveries to direct manager and CSR’s.·
Follow up on all quotations impacting price and delivery.·
Buy parts and materials in the Lenox warehouse que.·
Attend and participate in weekly production meeting. Make production and Sales aware of any changes effecting the scheduled delivery.·
Work with project accounting to resolve vendor invoice issues.·
Work with Warehouse on inventory stocking levels. Make recommendations to increase or decrease.·
Responsible for weekly maintenance and updating of outstanding PO’S.·
Work independent to complete given assignments.·
Prioritize and organize your own work.·
Analyze and improve ways or working.·
Ensure safety standards and practices are followed.·
Travel to other Valmet locations as needed or directed.### Qualifications* Associates degree preferred, preferably within a business-related or technical field of study and /or two to five years experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.* ERP System experience* Warehousing and Inventory* Operational Logistics* Commercial Understanding* Product and Service knowledge* Project Management* Supply Chain experience.**What we offer**We offer a challenging work environment that values innovation and development-minded people who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
