Position Summary
Ross Group is seeking an experienced
Electrical Project Manager
to lead and manage industrial electrical projects with a strong focus on power distribution, instrumentation, and construction execution. This role will serve as the on-site project leader in Pryor, OK, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical electrical expertise and proven project management experience, particularly within oil & gas or similar industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical project execution from planning through commissioning
Serve as on-site Project Manager with daily oversight of construction activities
Manage scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring alignment with project objectives
Review and approve equipment submittals, including:
Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear
Low Voltage (LV) Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
Motors and associated equipment
Oversee installation and construction related to:
4160V and 480V power systems
Instrumentation and controls
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
Provide cost tracking, forecasting, and progress reporting
Support and lead commissioning activities
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, and field personnel
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Will consider candidates without PE based on strong project management experience
PMP certification is a plus
Experience Requirements
5+ years of electrical project management experience in industrial environments
Experience in oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial projects strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience with:
Medium and low voltage power systems (4160V / 480V)
Instrumentation and controls
Equipment submittal review and approval
Construction oversight and field coordination
Commissioning and startup support
Key Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
