For over 100 years, Allison has powered the vehicles and technology that move our world forward.Learn more about this role and how you can begin *driving your career forward!***Job Description:****Position Overview:*** Plan and perform arc and acetylene welding, brazing, soldering, silver soldering, and cutting on a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.* Fabricate various parts or tools from blueprints or design and make from a verbal description or rough sketch.* Maintain a stock of welding supplies and requisition when needed.* Assist in the installation and repair of equipment and systems as required.* Maintain a current state issued welding certificate.* Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment.* Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement.**Requirements:*** High School Diploma* Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
