Job Summary
Lead Asset Manager supporting the Product Manager (PdM) army program at Booz Allen. Provide senior‑level oversight of equipment tracking, delivery coordination, and asset accountability activities across the PdM army program.
Responsibilities
Coordinate equipment order tracking and delivery activities across multiple sites and stakeholders to ensure assets are visible, available, and properly documented.
Develop and maintain tracking systems that provide leadership with clear visibility into equipment order status, shipment timelines, and asset accountability.
Serve as subject‑matter expert on equipment tracking and ordering processes, providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor order progress, identify potential delivery delays, and coordinate with logistics and program stakeholders to ensure timely arrival of equipment.
Mentor Asset Managers supporting the PdM army program and promote consistent tracking, reporting, and accountability practices across the program.
Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, financial analysts, and acquisition stakeholders to support program operations while maintaining compliance with Department of Defense policies and government property management regulations.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DoD asset management, logistics operations, or equipment procurement.
Experience managing asset accountability and maintaining accurate property documentation.
Experience coordinating equipment availability and asset visibility across program stakeholders.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Knowledge of DoD policies and regulations related to asset management and government property accountability.
Ability to track equipment orders, coordinate delivery across multiple stakeholders and locations, and develop clear reports and briefings on equipment order status and asset accountability.
Ability to develop and maintain equipment tracking systems and reporting processes.
Ability to mentor and guide other asset managers or logistics personnel.
Secret clearance.
HS diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting system integration or modernization initiatives within defense programs.
Experience supporting ACAT II or similar DoD acquisition programs.
Knowledge of government property management systems, including SMART, ELMS, DDSR, and CP START.
Possession of excellent organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
Possession of excellent communication, cross‑functional collaboration skills, and problem‑solving skills.
Bachelor's degree.
Project Management Certification.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary range: $69,400.00–$158,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by location, education, skills, and contract requirements.
