Project Leader
to a leadership position. They will be responsible for supporting the overall strategy, execution of deliverables, project completion and profitable outcomes. This is a direct placement role on‑site at
Ashburn, Virginia . The
Project Leader
is expected to provide overall development, training and leadership to Junior Project Leadership, Field‑Superintendents and Trades personnel as it relates to strategic planning, overall implementation and ownership of project completion. This is a great opportunity to join rapidly expanding datacenter work in the NOVA region.
Responsibilities
Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
Coordinating and running a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
Researching and compiling submittals, identifying and pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline.
Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules.
Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher‑Education, Information Transit Systems.
Ability to utilize software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office.
No clearance required but ability to obtain.
Compensation
Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience.
