Salary: $2,093.59 - $2,293.59 /wk Join Jackson HealthPros as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will perform specialized breast examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease at a hospital facility. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography (M). Two years of mammography technologist experience preferred; must be able to work independently performing screening and diagnostic exams. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification. Experience with Hologic mammography equipment and contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) preferred. Familiarity with documentation and imaging systems such as Penrad, Sectra, Ambry (high-risk breast program), and Expanse (registration/demographics) preferred. Ability to provide excellent patient care and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to adhere to facility dress code: scrubs (bright pink and/or black combination or all pink). Assignment Details: Facility type: Hospital. Unit: Breast Diagnostic Center - Mammography. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 07:30-16:00. Equipment: Hologic; three mammo units with CEM capability. Scheduling notes: Regular Monday-Friday scheduling with occasional half-day Saturday rotation approximately every 3-4 months. Floating policy: No floating to other facilities required. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is in the downtown cultural district, approximately a 10-15 minute drive from central hospitals and served by local bus routes. Belle Isle is a popular James River island with hiking and rock-climbing access about 5-10 minutes from downtown by car, supporting an active, adventurous lifestyle. The Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden sits roughly 15-20 minutes north of central Richmond and provides seasonal displays and walking gardens. For regional outdoor recreation, Pocahontas State Park is about a 30-40 minute drive and offers trails, boating, and camping for weekend trips. Richmond International Airport is approximately 15-20 minutes by car, providing convenient regional and domestic air service. Dining and entertainment options in the Fan District and Shockoe Bottom neighborhoods are within a 5-15 minute commute, offering walkable urban living and nightlife options.
