About the Role
We are hiring a
Manufacturing Engineer III / Fabrication Engineer
for a leading industrial equipment manufacturing domain. This role will support fabrication operations by optimizing CNC press brake, laser cutting, and punching processes while partnering closely with production teams to improve shop floor efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Set up new
press brake jobs on CNC-controlled machines , including machine selection, tooling, and bending methods
Configure
fiber and CO2 laser jobs , including
2D CAD, nesting, and CNC programming
Train operators on best practices, required procedures, and process improvements for
laser, brake, and punching equipment
Convert manufacturing change orders into
production programs and shop floor documentation
Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and team leads to drive daily production success
Troubleshoot and resolve
process and equipment-related losses
in fabrication operations
Support automated
load & unload laser environments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Strong hands-on knowledge of
sheet metal fabrication environments
Expertise in
bending, laser cutting, punching, and CNC setup
Understanding of
different steel grades and fabrication standards
Excellent
problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
Experience with
LVD, Trumpf, Mazak, Cincinnati, and Aida equipment
Background in
press brakes, laser cutting automation, and punching systems
Experience training operators and implementing process changes on the production floor
