About the Role
Wythe County Community Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health. As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our 8‑bed Skilled Nursing unit, you will provide high‑quality, compassionate care. The nurse‑to‑patient ratio is supportive and our manager prioritizes patient safety and positive outcomes. You will have opportunities for learning, professional development, and progression through a clinical ladder program. The flexible schedule allows you to balance continuing education or personal life.
Responsibilities
Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients
Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record
Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

Qualifications
Applicants must have a current VA or Compact RN license. Additional requirements include:
Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
