The ideal candidate will have experience in orthodontics, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent patient care skills. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth clinical operations while providing exceptional service to our patients.
Schedule - This is a full-time position
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during various procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and care for orthodontic appliances.
Manage patient records, including taking and documenting medical histories and treatment records.
Ensure that the treatment area is clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary supplies.
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with the front office staff.
Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with patients, families, and team members.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Orthodontic Assistant (OA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
Previous experience in an orthodontic practice required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of dental and orthodontic terminology and procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficient in utilizing dental software and technology.
