Summary

You will become a paid hourly employee of Stella Maris, while going through our own training program to obtain your CNA/GNA License. At the conclusion of the course, and after passing your Geriatric Nursing Assistant exams, you will be registered on the Maryland Board of Nursing as a registered CNA/GNA.

Responsibilities
Classes are expected to start on April 27th and run for 12 weeks.

The class is held Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm. After completion of the 12-week class, the available shifts are 7:00am-3:00pm, and 3:00pm-11:00pm with every other weekend requirement.

Requirements

High school Diploma or GED is required.

Ability to commit to a full time training schedule.

Must be available Monday through Friday 9:00am-3:30pm for the entire 6-week class.

Must be available to work every other weekend, after graduation.

Must be available to work some holidays.

A minimum of a 1-year commitment to Stella Maris in a full-time position is required after receiving your CNA/GNA Certifications.

Salary Information
Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
