Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) – Rehab
Shift: 7:00 p‑7:00 a with an every‑other weekend requirement.

Full Time and Part Time Available.

Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision of a licensed nurse, provides nursing care according to facility philosophy, policies and procedures. Responsible for meeting patients’ daily needs and responding to call lights; assumes care of patients’ clothing, personal property and environment, and makes careful and efficient use of supplies, linen and equipment.

DUTIES:

Provides quality nursing care in accordance with established routines and procedures to ensure residents’ comfort and safety.

Takes and records residents’ vital signs, weight, intake and output, and other measurements accurately and on time.

Provides assistance with all ADLs for assigned residents.

Maintains documentation on residents/patients’ charts according to facility protocol.

Promptly answers residents’ call lights.

Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and consistently practices standard precautions.

Regularly assumes responsibility for resident’s clothing and personal property by securing items in accordance with established routines.

Requirements

GNA license in Maryland.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess good nursing skills, patience, understanding, and a positive, caring attitude.

Salary
USD $17.99 per hour (minimum) to USD $27.20 per hour (maximum).

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid‑portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
