BOUTIQUE RETAIL MANAGER – qualia, Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Boutique Manager to lead the end-to-end operation of the qualia boutique. This is a unique opportunity to deliver a world-class retail experience within one of Australia’s most prestigious luxury resorts.
In this role, you’ll combine strategic buying, brand curation and operational leadership to drive performance while ensuring a distinctive and elevated product offering aligned with the qualia guest experience.

Where you’ll make an impact
Overseeing daily boutique operations to deliver a seamless, high-end retail experience
Providing personalised service to guests, building strong relationships and driving repeat engagement
Achieving and exceeding sales targets through KPI management and in-store strategy
Selecting and purchasing a premium mix of Australian and international brands
Identifying opportunities to grow revenue through product mix, pricing and in-store experience
Managing stock levels, replenishment and sell-through to optimise performance
Maintaining accurate stock control, inventory and compliance with financial procedures
Owning boutique financial performance including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Preparing and delivering performance reports to senior leadership
Recruiting, training and managing staff, including rostering to meet business needs
Ensuring the boutique is impeccably presented with elevated merchandising standards
Staying ahead of fashion trends and evolving the product offering to meet guest expectations
What we’re looking for
You’re an experienced retail leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for delivering premium customer experiences. You bring a proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to lead both people and performance in a luxury environment.
To be successful, you’ll need:
Queensland open/unrestricted driver’s licence (Essential)
Previous management experience (Essential)
Previous retail experience (Essential)
Ability to read, understand and act on financial reporting, budgeting and sales analysis (Essential)
Key skills:
Previous experience in luxury retail or premium boutique management
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong leadership, communication and team development capabilities
Ability to work proactively both independently and within a team
