Introduction to Visual Arts
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach Ancient through Medieval and Renaissance through Modern art history survey courses, Modern through Contemporary Art, and/or Art of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas;
Use CCRI LMS and other technology to deliver and/or enhance instruction, submit reports and grades, and effectively communicate through email, and conferencing platforms.
All instructors submit to the college documentation of their courses for assessment and verification of student engagement.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree in Art History or related field required, PhD in related field preferred.
Experience teaching college-level Art History courses, as the instructor of record.”
Ability to use LMS and other technology to enhance instruction, to submit grades and to use email effectively.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.
Ability to contribute to a dynamic teaching/learning environment requiring adaptability, creativity, and teamwork.
Willingness to teach at multi-campus locations and satellite sites.
