This assignment involves working in an IR service with one IR room, one hybrid room, and one procedure room, using Siemens Icono Bi‑Plane and Philips Azure single‑plane equipment. The role emphasizes patient care across endovascular and interventional procedures in a high‑volume hospital environment.

Contract duration: Weeks

Call: 1 weekday per week and every 4th weekend

Orientation: 40 hours onsite (modules completed onsite)

Responsibilities

Provide procedural support for endovascular and stroke cases, including thrombectomy and carotid stenting

Assist with embolization therapies (Y‑90), EVAR/TEVAR, and vascular access management

Perform angiography and angioplasty with appropriate stent placement under image guidance

Maintain sterile technique, room circulation, and scrub duties; assist with patient positioning and instrument handling

Support operations across three IR‑related rooms (IR, Hybrid, procedure room) and contribute to efficient workflow

Requirements

Certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS required

Experience: minimum 1 year IR/interventional experience

Preferred charting: Epic (experience with Epic is preferred)

Additional/Preferred: ARRT VI*, RCIS* noted as preferred

Compliance: traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility
