About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on
Senior Engineering Aide
to support advanced power electronics testing in a dynamic lab environment. You’ll work directly with engineers to evaluate
DC-DC and AC-DC power supply performance , build and refine test setups, and help drive product validation from concept to qualification.
This is a highly technical, lab-focused role where
problem‑solving, creativity, and precision matter every day .
What You’ll Do
Support engineering teams in
evaluating and qualifying power supply components and assemblies
Run detailed testing to measure
temperature rise vs. electrical load and cooling conditions
Design, build, and improve
electrical, mechanical, and thermal test setups
Modify and fabricate
custom test fixtures
to enhance lab efficiency and accuracy
Collect, analyze, and summarize test data using
Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems
Work across engineering groups to
troubleshoot product and setup challenges
Ensure
test equipment calibration and lab readiness standards are maintained
Prepare and install
thermocouples and precision measurement setups
What You Bring
Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or equivalent experience
7+ years of hands‑on lab or engineering support experience
Strong understanding of
AC/DC circuits and power systems
Experience with lab instruments:
Multimeters
Power supplies
Electronic loads
Power analyzers
Data acquisition systems
Ability to interpret
schematics, drawings, and test specifications
Strong
soldering skills
and thermocouple preparation experience
Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Clear communication skills for documenting and presenting test results
Self‑starter who thrives in a
fast‑paced, hands‑on engineering environment
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Liquid cooling systems (chillers, cold plates, pressure setups)
Understanding of
thermal resistance and heat transfer concepts
Basic machining (drill press, milling machine, Cu/Al stock)
Experience with
FLIR thermal imaging systems
LabVIEW or similar automation tools
Oscilloscope operation and troubleshooting
