Responsibilities
Assist with production of design plans and engineering specifications for water resources infrastructure projects.
Support watermain design, storm water management, and water and wastewater treatment facility design projects.
Perform design tasks including writing specifications and technical reports.
Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and modeling.
Coordinate with product vendors to ensure proper products are selected for civil infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with CAD technicians and project managers to ensure submittals meet deadlines.
Participate in construction inspections, site visits and in-person design meetings to ensure project is constructed per plans and specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
Must have 2 years of experience with water and wastewater infrastructure design.
Experience with AutoCAD, including Civil 3D.
Experience performing structural and civil analysis for civil and conveyance projects.
Experience performing structural calculations to ensure drainage structures are designed to overcome buoyancy forces.
Experience conducting construction site inspections for infrastructure projects.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.

Pay Transparency
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed‑upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated.
Benefits Summary
