Overview

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Start date: May 11, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,640 to $1,710 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week. Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

Assist the supervising occupational therapist in implementing and adjusting individualized treatment plans.
Conduct therapeutic activities and therapeutic media to improve or maintain patients’ functional abilities and independence.
Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed, ensuring safety, dignity, and patient comfort.
Monitor patient responses, document progress, and report changes to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
Maintain clean, organized treatment spaces and comply with standard precautions and infection control practices.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support discharge planning and continuity of care.

Requirements

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification.
NH state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in New Hampshire.
Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week and the listed shift.
Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to adapt to new facilities and patient populations.
