The Opportunity
As a Medical Assistant at SEPA Pain & Spine, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high‑quality patient care. This role is essential in maintaining efficient patient flow, preparing treatment areas, assisting with procedures, and supporting patients throughout their care experience.
What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support
Assist physicians and practitioners during medical procedures and clinical examinations
Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient care
Prepare, order, and administer medications under physician supervision
Assist with transferring patients before and after procedures
Patient Coordination & Support
Check in patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow
Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results
Deliver compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families
Operations & Clinical Readiness
Prepare examination rooms and clean instruments
Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Compliance & Administrative Support
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
Complete all required annual training by assigned deadlines
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
One to three (1–3) years of experience as a Medical Assistant required
Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of clerical procedures such as recordkeeping and filing
Knowledge of medical terminology and office ethics
Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
