Trillium Construction is now seeking a Construction Superintendent for a contract assignment in Chicago, IL!
The project is expected to last for 3+ months. Pay rate is$50/hour.
Seeking an experienced Contract Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for a 3+ month assignment in the Chicago area. This role is responsible for driving projects from pre‑construction through completion, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and effective coordination across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work meets design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project and Procore.
Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for quality control, safety, and subcontractor management.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including scheduling, RFIs, and change orders.
Identify and resolve project risks, bottlenecks, and gaps to avoid delays.
Participate in estimating reviews, scope alignment, and value engineering efforts.
Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and issue resolution.
Continuously improve job site productivity, safety practices, and internal processes.
Ideal Candidate
Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse teams.
Proven ability to manage schedules, solve problems, and drive projects forward.
Detail‑oriented with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
Experience seeing projects through from pre‑construction to completion.
At least 3+ years in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
