Patient Care Coordinator
Smile House, New York, NY, United States
We're Hiring! Patient Care Coordinator | SMILE HOUSE JBL NYC
ABOUT SMILE HOUSE & JBL NEW YORK CITY
SMILE HOUSE and JBL New York City represent two of Manhattan's most distinguished dental practices — united by a shared philosophy that the mouth is the gateway to whole-body health. JBL NYC, founded over 35 years ago on the Upper East Side at 923 Fifth Avenue, has long been a benchmark for esthetic and restorative excellence. SMILE HOUSE Tribeca, located at 55 Warren Street, is the next evolution of that vision: a fully integrated, diagnostics-forward practice built around the oral-systemic health model, advanced technology, and a deeply human patient experience.
Our founder and Chief Clinical Officer — a nationally recognized dental innovator, patent holder, NYU faculty member, and leading voice in oral-systemic health — is building an exceptional organization.
The Role:
You'll be the circulatory system of our practice — managing appointments, coordinating care, and ensuring every patient interaction reflects the warmth and precision SMILE HOUSE is known for. This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-touch environment and takes genuine pride in making people feel seen, heard, and cared for.
What You'll Do:
Own scheduling with precision — keeping appointments seamless and on time
Be the first and lasting impression for every patient who walks in
Coordinate care and work with patients and clinical staff to treatment plan across our multi-specialty team
Handle patient inquiries with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
Maintain accurate patient records and support office operations
Communicate effectively using dental and medical terminology
What We're Looking For:
5+ years in the dental or healthcare industry
Exceptional communication and customer service presence
Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset
Familiarity with dental/healthcare software
A genuine hospitality mindset — patient experience is everything
Bachelor's degree or healthcare-related certification preferred
Must be able to commute to our Tribeca, NYC and/or UES locations 5 days per week
Full-Time | On-Site | Tribeca and/or Upper East Side
If you're passionate about elevating the patient experience and want to be part of something truly different in dentistry — we'd love to hear from you.
