Interventional Radiology Opportunity in Southwest Georgia
Join a growing Interventional Radiology program at a regional referral center committed to technology, expansion, and physician autonomy. You'll play a key role in developing a full-spectrum IR service, influencing clinical protocols, and advancing subspecialty offerings. From Y-90 to trauma embolizations, your skills will be supported in a collaborative, high-impact environment built for progress.
Practice Overview
You’ll join 2 full-time IR physicians (expanding to 4), supported by IR techs, RNs, and radiology assistants
Wide procedural scope: nephrostomies, biliary drains, TACE, Y-90, vertebroplasty, trauma embolizations
Optional diagnostic reads tailored to your interests
New Angio suite with cone beam CT and system-wide imaging upgrades
Compensation & Benefits
$670,100 base salary (includes contracted call) - total earning potential is uncapped!
Total of 212 contracted shifts per year
$75,000 sign-on bonus plus up to $15,000 for relocation (3-year contract)
Generous RVU bonus potential; top earners exceed $800K annually
Extra call paid at $892.86/day; additional shifts at $325/hr (weekdays) and $3,000/day (weekends)
$9,000 annual CME allowance plus full benefits, malpractice with tail, 401k, gym, and onsite childcare
Schedule
3 weeks on / 1 week off model; equivalent to 12 weeks of built-in time off
Standard hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM during on-service weeks
56 call days per year included ($50k) (Monday-Monday rotation); additional call is optional and well-compensated at $892.86/day
Candidate Requirements
Fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology
Board-certified or board-eligible
Comfortable with general IR and interested in growing advanced subspecialty cases
Ideal for physicians seeking both clinical autonomy and collegial support
