Job Description
The professional serves as an experienced radiographer responsible for overseeing department operations and ensuring efficient workflow. Provides functional supervision to the team ensuring adherence to established workflows, policies, and quality standards.
Principal Accountabilities
Provides mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
Maintains a pleasant and helpful attitude when training and orienting new team members; objectively assesses progress and provides feedback in a timely manner. Acts as preceptor as needed.
Coordinates and manages team work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and workload balance.
Maintains open communication interdepartmentally to ensure accurate and efficient coordination of procedures and teamwork.
Serves as a liaison between interdisciplinary teams to support patient flow, scheduling accuracy, and timely service delivery.
Promotes open and honest communication between peers and supervisors, providing constructive feedback and proactive solutions to operational concerns.
Applies critical thinking to manage complex scheduling scenarios and resolve conflicts.
Maintains a responsive, respectful, and professional relationship with all customers.
Collaborates in the development and implementation of best practices and protocols to improve department operations and patient experience.
Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an NJDEP approved radiography program.
BLS certified.
Licensed by NJ Department of Environmental Protection in Diagnostic Radiography.
Minimum two years of clinical experience.
Preferred
AART Radiography.
One (1) year of clinical experience in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Epic and Sectra PACS is preferred – can be obtained via training/introductory period.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to effectively work in a high-volume team environment.

Minimum Salary (Hourly Rate): $33.33
Maximum Salary (Hourly Rate): $58.67
