Overview
We are seeking a talented Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to join our property operations team at Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
Supervise and perform daily landscape and grounds maintenance duties, including purchasing materials, scheduling vendor services, tracking expenses, and maintaining irrigation and maintenance schedules.
Conduct repairs, mowing, weeding, planting, sod installation/removal, and apply fertilizers and pesticides.
Maintain records of all chemical applications.
Monitor team member performance: provide supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, professional development, and recognition.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.
Assist with development of landscape budget.
Qualifications
• 2–3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or similar facility.
• Demonstrated history of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with hospitality-specific maintenance expectations (guest rooms/public areas focus) is a plus.
