Schedule
Needs to be available Monday -Friday, 7am to 6:30 and able to close a min of 1 night a week (10-6:30).
Must be licensed or have training license within 1 year of expiration.
Job Responsibilities
Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.
Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.
Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.
Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
High School diploma.
2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation.
Basic computer skills.
Compensation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $19 to $22 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
