Overview
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Entry Level)

Responsibilities
Accurately enter patient demographics and prescription data into processing systems.
Resolve claim rejects and address insurance billing issues efficiently.
Escalate prescription-related queries to pharmacists for further interpretation.
Manage inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians professionally.
Operate automated machinery to sort, count, label, pack, and ship prescriptions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with machine upkeep.
Identify and communicate any issues to staff as necessary.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and quality control standards at all times.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
Pharmacy technician certification, preferred NOT required.
Proven experience in customer service within pharmacy or healthcare settings.
Strong communication skills for managing calls with patients and physicians.
Basic computer proficiency, including internet navigation and typing at least 25 WPM.
Open to candidates with 0-2 years of experience in pharmacy.
Work Environment
The position requires working overnight shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, totaling 30 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
