
Pharmacy Tech Trainee OP

Overview
The Pharmacy Technician Trainee performs those duties which do not require the professional training and judgment of a pharmacist. The technician trainee will learn and demonstrate the mastery of filling medication orders, deliveries to patient care and ancillary areas, managing technology including PYXIS packer and PYXIS control cabinets, effective operation of the department while staffing as team leader, sterile and non-sterile product preparation.
Responsibilities

Manage technology including PYXIS packer and PYXIS control cabinets
Support effective operation of the department while staffing as team leader
Prepare sterile and non-sterile products
Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Trainee will obtain their Pharmacy Tech license with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy before the start of employment. They must achieve their National Certification within two years of their date of hire.
Experience
Pharmacy experience preferred or related work experience.
