SUMMER STUDENT WORKER (Multiple Positions)
JOB SUMMARY
The Summer Student Worker position is designed to allow our students to earn money over the summer while making a tangible difference in their school and community.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and either an enrolled student at Hamilton High School with a valid work permit or a 2026 graduate of Hamilton High School.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Works cooperatively with the student work supervisor and co-workers throughout the summer months, while working on various projects around the school's campus. Projects can include:
Preparing new computers and devices
Moving classroom furniture
Painting
Interior walls
EFIS
Exterior equipment
Repairing walls and ceilings
Pressure washing brick, stucco, and tile
Landscaping
Trim trees and shrubs
Irrigation repair
Weeding
Planting trees
Yard and playground cleanup
Hours
Spring 2026: After school – 4 hours per week (2 days per week for 2 hours per day)
Summer Months: Mon–Thurs, approximately 32 hours per week with some flexibility required
Start Date: Spring/Summer 2026
Rate of Pay: $13.73 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand‑held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
