UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed PERSONAL ASSISTANTS (Direct Care Providers) for PART-TIME shifts.
UCP Heartland offers a positive, team driven, work environment at $21.00/Hour
SUNDAY 7 AM - 3 PM
As a PERSONAL ASSISTNAT/DSP (Direct Care Provider) you will perform the following responsibilities:
Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
Follow medical orders and administer medications.
Assist with ADL's; Lift and Transfer (includes ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc), Adaptive transportation.
Shift Documentation using Set-Works and general housekeeping.
Most importantly,
provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
Good written and oral communication skills
THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!
THIS POSITION REQUIRES 5-7 DAYS OF MANDATORY TRAINING AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM
