McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, has an opening for a HIGHLY EXPERIENCED Shop Service Technician in our Louisville, KY dealership
We are growing fast and need a skilled Shop Diesel Technician who loves working on big iron. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 -3 YEARS OF CONSTRUCTION AND FORESTRY DIESEL EXPERIENCE.
Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction and forestry equipment, including but not limited to, diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, transmission & axles, cooling systems, chassis repairs, and some welding.
Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, attachment installation, etc.
Utilize a computer or mobile device to perform diagnostic tests and maintain accurate records of repairs.
Maintain cleanliness in the shop.
Must have basic computer skills.
You must possess a valid driver’s license.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
2-year associate degree from a technical school
2-3 years of related diesel technician experience.
Paid Time Off-80 Hours in the first year!
